The farming district of Moorooduc forms the rural heart of the Peninsula's northern plains, with one of the greatest concentration of thoroughbred estates in Australia, as well as a range of alternative farming ventures. Its drier, broader country also provides a distinct micro climate for Peninsula's wines, especially of the red grape variety.
The secluded and exclusive Moorooduc Estate is a small family run winery which has developed an enviable reputation for complex and food friendly wines.
